Right now his skills would translate better to the Spread Option attack, However if he ever wants to seriously become a good passer(and consequently an NFL QB) he would do well in choosing OSU because our Spread offense would help him to refine his passing skills and make him a more complete and NFL ready QB.

Depends on if he wants to be drafted more as a QB or an athlete.

Does he want to put up good college stats (UM/Oregon) and still go to a 2nd-tier bowl or does he want to develop into a great QB, play for a Nat'l title every year and play at the next nevel(OSU)? How many running QB's are playing in the NFL right now? Few that are having any success or that are not too occupied with killing dogs.

Yeah, it's a good thing an athletic quarterback like Troy Smith went to West Virginia so that he could have a great chance to be a starting quarterback in the NFL and pick up a little piece of hardware called the Heisman along the way.

just TWO reasons... JT can coach QB. And we can run both types of offense.

My Only comments on this situation until he commits somewhere is this-
If Mallet Transfers, Pryor is heading to Michigan, no doubt about it. It would be hard for him to turn down being the unquestioned big man on campus and for sure starting QB at Michigan.

If Mallet Stays, I think he is ours with the help of Brews Crew.
