I have a couple things that worried me about that interview posted on rivals.

1) he said that he needs to start immediately....I don't see that happening at OSU. I don't think anyone's jumping Boeckman for next year's starting job.

2) Hoops doesn't interest him anywhere as much as football. I would have thought that one of OSU's strong points is its collective power in both sports! We would have a serious edge over UM!

Having said that, in the interview, he also comes across as a guy who's just having fun!

I dont see him starting either, but I would fully anticipate us working him onto the field quite a bit no matter what position it is. At QB you could follow the Flynn/Perriloux or Leak/Tebow type of style. Or get him the ball at another position. Too much talent.

Thomas scored 32 points, while Cottman and Phillips combined for 29 points, as Beaver Falls claimed an authoritative 83-63 victory Saturday over Jeannette in the Aliquippa Giant Eagle Holiday Classic Saturday at Robert Morris University?s Sewall Center.

I'm not sure what the "posted interview" said about starting immediately, but that is 180 degrees from what he stated in the interview with Bill King on Rivals Radio. He told King that early playing time was not a factor in his decision. He also sounded very positive about Coach Tressel and about Ohio State in general, though he said all 5 teams he's considering are all in the mix (as well as Duke given that Cutcliffe is now their coach): Florida, Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan and Oregon.

Also said basketball is not a factor; he won't play hoop in college.

Yeah, in the interview he did say that early playing time was NOT a factor. So I'm gonna scratch one of my initial points of worry off the list. I did not mention the good parts, where he spoke very highly about OSU, and he likes Jim Tressel & THE RECRUITS a lot!!!

BTW, WVU is NOT on his list anymore, but Oregon is in there instead.
