QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

JT is a salesmen, because that's what a college head football coach has to be. In fact, JT is an excellent salesmen. He doesn't get the kids that he's gotten if he's not. Just because he's not a used car salesmen doesn't mean that the guy doesn't know how to sell his product.

It seems from comments by Jenkins and Pryor that they had a love affair with richrod at wv and both were going to go there b/c they liked the offense. Also Jenkins could start from day one and Pryor would get some playing time even with White there as a senior. It seems they looked at the depth chart at tOSU and saw too many folks there. This is just my opinion. Also, I think JT while he supports these two players and is recruiting them, he wants them to want to be Buckeyes. He doesn't want to have to do a sales job b/c he not a salesman, he's a Head Football Coach. He lays it all on the table like a man and he wants the young guys that come to tOSU to go from being teenagers and evolve into young men over 3-4 years. So, whatever the outcome will be, my support for JT and the staff is unconditional, as from my vantage point, they represent OSU with great integrity and credibility. Merry Christmas to all!!!!!!!!!
I think your opinion is flat out wrong.

Pryor can be a package QB at OSU & WVU. Anthony Davis was supposed to "start from day one." Instead he did not debut in the 2-deep anywhere.

Jeannette boys basketball coach Jim Nesser said he honestly didn't know what to expect Wednesday night in his team's season opener.
With only one practice under their belts and many players still on a high from winning a state football title, Nesser was just hoping for the best.
That's exactly what he got in Jeannette's solid 81-50 Section 1-AA victory over Freeport. While Nesser was somewhat pleased with his team's performance, he knows they have a long way to go to become good.
Jeannette got 24 points from Terrelle Pryor, 16 from Jordan Hall, 15 from Shaw Sunder and 10 from Kenny Grant to cruise to an easy victory.
Pryor opened the game with the first of his six dunks. He also had 11 rebounds, 5 blocked shots and 5 assists. "You can't be unhappy with them," Nesser

timeline

I have to assume the longer Pryor waits to commit the better tOSU's chances become. There are many reasons which have been stated in this thread to back this up, but recently with the hire of RichRod I believe it is more important.

RichRod wants to gain some momentum in an unstable situation coming to a new school. I would imagine he asked Pryor to commit now if Pryor had made a choice to gain momentum. Pryor commiting to M*$&#&^$ on signing day does nothing for recruiting.

Understand this is speculation, but it makes sense.:oh:

Just wanna throw something out there...

Tressel: 3 straight Big-10 titles (2 outright)
Back-to-back BCSCG appearences (3 in 6 years)
Matta: Back-to-back Big-10 titles
Bringing in sick recruiting classes for the forseeable future
National Championship game appearence

Vs.

Rodriguez: Building around his offense nearly from scratch
Beilein: Practically rebuilding from the ground up

Which sounds more appealing?
:( I'm not sure :osu::osu::osu::osu::osu: by FAR

Over the past 15 years we've had: Ted Ginn, Anthony Gonzalez, Roy Hall, Santonio Holmes, Michael Jenkins, Drew Carter, Reggie Germany, Ken-Yon Rambo, David Boston, Terry Glenn, and Joey Galloway. I'd say we've done just as well as Michigan has at putting WRs into the NFL...

Chris Sanders and Brian Stavlein both fall in the 15 year timeline as well. Jeff Graham is right on the fringe at 16 years.

I think the kid should think past his college days and think about who gives him the best chance to go pro. Although spread qb's are all the rave in college, I think you are going to see NFL teams shy away from the runners. Guys like Vince Young and Mike Vick are gonna make teams think. Even Tavaris Jackson who is a young qb is getting flack by the media. If Pryor wants to make it in the NFL he might consider a pro offense like OSU, granted he would have to become a better passer, but in 5 years people will be looking for Farve, Brady, Manning, not Vince Young.
