As a guy who has played on the defensive line for three years at Ohio State, Adolphus Washington may know better than anyone what it’s like to try and bring down the man who calls himself “the best athlete in college football.”

Of course, Washington has never been allowed to tackle Braxton Miller in practice as he has worn the customary black non-contact jersey throughout his career in Columbus spending his first three seasons at quarterback, but that doesn’t mean Miller hasn’t given Washington and others fits on the practice field.

“To be honest, he didn’t even need to wear that black jersey in practice,” Washington said Thursday at Big Ten Media Days. “He’s hard enough to tackle without it.”

After about 20 months of him off the field, I'm more pumped to see brax play than for football in general.

You just wait though guys, later in the year when his shoulder is ready he will pull back and start throwing passes to wide open guys because defenses will be running up to stuff him. We have more possibilities with our combonations on offense that it makes the Ducks Jealous.

Braxton goes in motion from bottom of your screen to the top. The ball is snapped and is swung to Braxton who then reads the play flow and see's a overcommitted defense to stopping the swing pass he then pulls up and hits the Vannett who just delay released out of his block for a wide open 6 points at the pile on (much like Vannett in the NCG)

Reminds me of a Seahawks play last year. Read-option on the boundary contain... if they stay to defend the edge QB run Wilson would dunk it behind to the slot receiver for an easy ~8yds (or more w/broken tackles)
Would love to see that added to our arsenal.
