Glad to see he is sticking with his committment date...this one has been done for awhile. Can't wait for him to be a Buckeye though, his committment could be an impetus for some of the bigger recruits commitments.

I like the timing for an announcement to the good guys Thursday. Gives the Bucks the entire summer and fall football season to close in on getting signatures from about 10 more big names. Could be a fabulous class when all the names are signed on the dotted line on NLOI day. Exciting news.

During the interview he also said that he would, upon commitment, immediately begin recruiting his butt off for his chosen school.

He said that in direct response as to whether he would try to recruit DePriest, with whom he said he has had a close relationship for a "long time".

("long time" is in quotation marks not because he actually used that phrase (I'm too old to even try to use a high-schooler's terminology) but because a "long time" to him is something that I cannot personally call a "long time" without the quotation marks)

Every site is going to differ simply because there are far more than 100 excellent HS seniors out there each year.

Rivals may have Driskel rated higher but they still have Braxton as the #2 QB in the nation

They have Michael Bennett as the #1 DT
Doran Grant as the #1 DB
Kenny Hayes as the #5 DE

Considering how early in the ranking process we are and how Rivals isn't usually as "Ohio friendly" as Scout, I'm actually surprised at how high they have some Ohio players ranked
