The article makes the argument that Pryor was a huge get as a freakish athlete and not necessarily on pure QB skill.

They also argue that Miller is a better QB at this point than was Pryor. Again, talking things other than pure physical athleticism. It's not to say Miller isn't also highly gifted athletically, just that Pryor is a once in a generation sorta guy on that metric.

Frankly, the analysis seems about right to me, though out of context the quotes sorta look absurd.

You might have to go back to the Class of 2002 when the Buckeyes signed Troy Smith to find the last time the Buckeyes landed a QB whose production at the position matched the hype.

Praising some one's athleticism is now "dogging" him?

Have you not watched Ohio State football since Pryor took over the QB position? Pryor is incredibly gifted physically. He has the right attitude to become a better QB, and he is improving quite a bit. But, you're kidding yourself if you think Pryor was a polished QB coming out of HS... or didn't have significant work to do to become a solid passer.

I'm all for ripping on ESPN and all.. but, that article is pretty on point.
