From the Purdue game thread ... judging from the number of times that Braxton slid and headed out of bounds against Penn State, it looks like someone on the coaching staff delivered this message to him.

good call.

It doesn't seem like too long ago that a lot of us ragged on Pryor for going out of bounds too often. Quite the turn of events. LOL!

I was happy to see Braxton get down and also get out of bounds. Braxton did these things when he was all out of options.

He still cut it back and made moves when he thought he had a chance, but he choosed his battles wisely. I personally have no problem with it, especially when he's going to go for 120+ yards rushing every game.

Eh, I thought it was a hold. Clearly grabbed the jersey, and when the defender turned around didn't let go.

Regardless, that was gonna be a TD. Braxton would not be denied.

Seriously this kid has an unbelievable ability to play poorly, then turn it around and dominate.

He made terrible, and I mean terrible throws in the first half, poor reads...then bam! turns it around in the second half. His mental toughness has to be second to none on this team. I can't wait to see him grow over the next 2 seasons.

I understand not wanting anyone to bash Buckeye players, and also understand how my saying he occasionally played like "dogshit" is close to the line. But, I wanted to note that I was attempting to contrast how he seems to be a different player in crunch time, and how he has an uncanny ability to rebound from incredibly poor performance seemingly at the toss of a coin.
