I think that's a big reason we can possibly see OSU land 2 QBs in 2027. And with the Portal, OSU can always find a QB to provide depth, or even find a starter depending on how Day feels about the room.

Really? Really? You name just one time that Ohio State went into the portal for a QB and made that work! Just once. I'm waiting. Who?

If memory serves correctly, wasn't Will Howard projected to be the 'manager' of the offense? Not a wunderkind, nor a top 10 draft pick, but someone that could successfully drive the team down the field. He was transfer portal. That turned out pretty well, methinks. Also thought we got Justin Field in the portal (from Georgia). Would imagine that Day would be looking for a Kenny Guiton, or a slew or others that joined the Buckeyes, knowing they'd be career backups at QB. As we all know, a player is just one injury away from starting. Yeah, we need massive experience in the QB room, with all three needing reps to help them develop.
