I was fairly indifferent about Kirk until recently, but not anymore. Get thicker skin and do your job better, Kirkie. Were you really blown away by the UT QB like you said? Does he really have unique speed? You really think the "fringe" is 15-20% of fans because everyone is mad about the struggles with Michigan? What a jackass

Yep. A total shill. He loves to talk about being inside Ohio State, because that is his only place to hang his hat. The pre-game questions to Day on GameDay were painful to watch. He's not adding value and he knows it. It's fear that motivates his attacks on Ohio State.

When you have to clarify that you were at a player meeting with coaches only because your son is on the team, those insights ring pretty hollow. When I saw him called "the Mayor of College Football", I laughed out loud.

Yeah, talking about lunatic fans while against UT is rich. That’s a fanbase, including lawmakers, that marched and rioted against Schiano. Ran a coach out of town before he got there. ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit has missed the mark with his repeated criticism of the Ohio State Buckeyes' fanbase.
And just recently litered a field and threw stuff at Ole Miss causing a delay.
Not a peep but praise for that loyal fanbase.

It was maybe 6-7 pages ago, I posted how I haven’t liked Kirk for 15-20 years but I never let him bother me. He’s an air head, sellout but I could tune a lot of it out.
Then his son commits to TTUN, while he throws another hissy fit for attention. No excuses anymore. “Fake as hell” as once poetically said.
Now after last night, I think I’m with the guy that said he’d risk whatever came from a physical altercation. Not sure if I’m joking or not but I can say I never care to see him in person and find out. I really cannot stand this guy.

***As an aside, crazy thing this article says that I never knew. Cooper at ASU never beat Arizona.
