Many years ago, I had a lot of respect for him. Modest career at QB turned into a stunning job. Then was Tattoogate.
It's a sad thing to see someone understand how little people think of them and realize that they have to borrow the brand equity that friendly dogs hold almost universally. So incredibly sad. If he had just apologized for Brewster and his anti-Ohio State comments, he would have moved way beyond that and possibly built a well-liked brand.
