QB Kirk ‘Nightmare On’ Herbstreit (Frosted Quips, False Narratives Clown, Afraid of THE Lunatic Fringe)

My God, that whole website seems terrible. As for him, just whatever at this point: He can't hurt the program and even fans of other teams who actively dislike Ohio State are mostly seeing through him. I don't feel like wasting any thought on him at all anymore.
And the more he carries on with the dog and pony show, the more likely his career is to crater.

I just assumed that he must have one at home. There was an article years ago about a pony named Whicker.. I guess I just keep waiting for him to drag out a pony if the dog's don't bring enough sympathy. He knows he blew it and there is no way back in Columbus.
I don't know, Steve... the world needs ditch diggers too.

I mean I'm not surprised. Internet dipshits going to dipshit. But much like the ones who went after day or his family with death threats they should be held responsible for their actions and probably shouldn't have access to the internet/apps/cell phones anymore

I'd be curious as to whether there's a QB of a major program who doesn't get death threats after a big loss that can be perceived to be in any part their fault. Which isn't to say that anyone who makes them isn't a disgrace. Of course, if Frosty actually cared about Will Howard or any other athlete receiving such threats, he wouldn't encourage more of the more of them to be made by publicizing them and normalizing the behavior. But he apparently thinks this will improve his ratings in some way or bring him sympathy in some way or he just needs the co-dependency of back and forth with the more hair trigger portions of the Ohio State fanbase.

Same guy that falsely accused Buckeye players of violations without proof and never apologized for being wrong….

Yeah so fuck him

Death threats are unacceptable and it blows my mind when that happens in the US, especially in sports. That said, let's be real. The world is a pretty screwed up place and death threats are not all that uncommon. Apartheid-era police often stopped researchers driving home at night with guns to the forehead..."you have been warned". I received several anonymous death threats over the years, even ones including family members or other members of management or business school leadership. There wasn't one time that the police could not identify the person pretty quickly. I hope that they got whoever threatened a kid playing football.
