QB Kirk ‘Nightmare On’ Herbstreit (Frosted Quips, False Narratives Clown, Afraid of THE Lunatic Fringe)

I need to say this just in case Kirk ever reads this thread. The theatrics Kirk displayed tonight were disgusting. I wish I hadn't seen it. Just pathetic.

This team has spent the entire season giving thanks for the gifts God has given them, lifting each other up when they were in deep valleys, and praising a coach that took the full weight of the OSU fan base, and just when they reach the pinnacle of the mountain they've been climbing all year, Kirk elbows them out of the way so he can draw attention to himself by crying fake tears and insisting he's not biased.

He's been trashing this team, it's coaches, and it's fans for close to 15 years, and now he wants everyone to see his passion for the school.

Go suck up to another school and it's fans. I've seen enough and I don't like what I see.
15? This puppet said he wouldn't let his kids play in a Jim Tressel offense all the way back in 2003. He was attention whoring during the Troy Smith stuff in 2004/05. He has two decades plus of this bullshit.

What I really enjoyed in recent days were the exhortations of the self-styled "Mayor of College Football  about how ESPiN had not been promoting SEC teams for the CFP and was delighted to have Ohio State and ND as big brands that would draw viewers to the game. Of course, the direct and thinly-veiled arguments in favor of Alabama and other SEC teams remain forever on the internet.

Data and the necessary tools to scrub databases and conduct analyses are becoming so much more available and affordable. I suppose that there must be some geek out there somewhere who can model the relative financial benefit to ESPiN, the SEC, and the SEC network from the CFP playoff and championship games, with various numbers of SEC teams in the mix, versus the additional financial benefits to those same parties from carryover effects on early rankings in the next year and viewership/profits for the 80% Disney-owned SEC Network.

Everything is changing so fast.

It seems that he just keeps trying to find some reason for people to feel sorry for him.
