Then why did they have OSU @ #1 at any point after that game? If LSU was #1 throughout their 4 weeks of rankings, I don't have as big of an issue with it (although I would still disagree).
But, the fact that OSU knocked off PSU, UM, and Wisconsin (a 2nd time while in the top 10) in 3 consecutive weeks and still lost the top seed bc LSU played a dominant game against a depleted and offensively hand-cuffed UGA team is crazy to me.....
Just ignoring the offensive and defensive dominance displayed by OSU all season long seems agregious. Hyping the LSU offense (OSU is scoring 2.5 more points per game) and ignoring the 40 points they allowed 4 different X's to Vany, Ole Miss, Texas and Bama on defense just bc they played good defense the last 3 games of the year is downright lazy by the committee.
