Hell, it looks like he ate John Gruden not just replaced him.

I wish I was drinking something when I read this so I could have dramatically/humorously done a spit take.

“Deep knowledge” of college talent.

Who wants to set up the lame ass cliche drinking game?

Edit: I should clarify, there is no way in hell I am watching this, but it’s always fun to go over the list of incredibly predictable and lame cliches Herbstreit uses on a ridiculously regular basis to feign knowledge of the game of football.

You're late, bro. The line to gain on this news was reached days ago. Clearly you're not a high-motor guy. :shake:

Chances are, if he threw that ball, it was picked off by the defense.

86 is the last guy off the bus.
Yeah, but I’m a gym rat and a student of the game. My father was a coach and I grew up in a football family. I also run good routes, you might say sneaky fast, on offense and am instinctive on defense with a nose for the football. A real “high character” asset for the team.

bringing a deeper knowledge of college football talent, rather than a coach's view of player evaluation

So, my target audience are NFL fans.

I am going to focus coverage more on knowing what the player did in college than giving insight into his potential as a pro because NFL fans(again, my target audience) care more about what the player did in college?

Not just because I despise both Herbie and ESPN but what the least little bit of fucking sense does that make?

You wanna know about where he's going so I'm going to talk about where he's been.

Brilliant
