QB Kirk ‘Nightmare On’ Herbstreit (Frosted Quips, Afraid of THE Lunatic Fringe)

Don’t agree at all. GA lost in the quarterfinal and they have 2 loses with only wins over UK and FL (both probably a tad overrated if we’re being real). All we know is they’re the 2nd or 3rd best SEC team. No way in hell do they deserve a damn rematch. Dont buy into the ESPN gaslighting efforts. GA is good but can anyone unequivocally say they’re better than OK, OSU or UCF because they punched BAMA in the mouth and then pee down their legs when they couldn’t close the deal. Not buying it Herb. I used to give him a small benefit of the doubt because he’s earning a paycheck but that ships sailed...

Its the way I see it... i know its not a popular opinions but heres why I think UGA should be in.

We just saw they arent getting embarressed and you can't say that about OSU/OU. If we are looking for the 4 best than IMO UGA was a dumb faked punt away from winning.

Now moving them to 3 is pretty stupid I admit.

Sure they could get embarrassed. LSU proved that. 'Bama sleepwalked through the first half, as they've been wont to do of late. Once they got focused, they abused Georgia. If any non-SEC team shit the bed after taking a nice lead like Georgia did, the story would be about the bedshitting, not their worthiness to be in a playoff over two conference champions (who I think have the #1 and #2 offenses in the country) who have fewer losses.

I mean...did everyone suddenly forget that Georgia got sodomized by the same 3-loss LSU team that gave up 74 fucking points to Texas A&M? We don't know if OSU/OU would get embarrassed by Alabama because they haven't even played. Maybe, just maybe, Alabama isn't invincible? Last year I thought OU would get embarrassed by Georgia but Riley had the entire Georgia defense questioning which way was up for an entire half before Riley got conservative and took Georgia to overtime. Maybe Alabama is just the product of a shit schedule where they had to play one good team all year? Nah that can't be it.

Only in the SEC does losing actually mean winning and it's getting tiresome.

Couldn’t agree more. I legitimately want a matchup with Bama and would love to see that game. They’re not the greatest team in the history of CFB as we’ve heard the media say over and over. They are very good and extremely well coached but they’re beatable. We’re starting to peak and I could see us hanging for 4 quarters with a chance to pull off the upset.

Yep

It's one thing for a monkey to start dancing when it's corporate organ grinder begins the music.

It is achieving another level of shameful depth for the human race when people start dancing to what the monkey is doing.

Everyone forgets I think UGA was down I think 2 starters up front on defense that game and I want to say a few other too.

They lost but they werent healthy either. Anyways it'll be ND and OU in.

FIFY.

If 2006 doesn't prove we shouldn't crown a conference untouchable, I don't know what to say to change your mind.

he has stockholm syndrome. He actually believes that shit.

as do half the people here it seems. That loss to Clemson 3 years ago seems to have instilled a permanent feeling of second class citizenship.

The win over Bama on the way to a NC 5 years ago seems to be completely forgotten.

Which is about the most Buckeye fan thing ever but not surprising in the least.

To be honest though... I don't blame them at all. Not one bit.

Last year we would have got smacked just like 2016 and this year would've been much of the same. Until we can stop getting whacked by 30 in one game per season we shouldn't be given any benefit of the doubt.

Our defense needs deconstructed. All of it from the coaches and the scheme. With even a Defense in the 20s we walk into the playoffs.

Well we certainly know we would have gotten blown out by Miami by 50 in 2002, I mean...
