QB Justin Fields (2019-20 B1G Off POY, 2020 Silver Football, 2019 B1G CCG MVP, Pittsburgh Steelers)

My point is a month ago there was serious questions on weather the Bears should move on from Justin.
He has put those thoughts to bed.
The Bears don’t have to burn capital looking for a qb.
They can build around Justin with the draft and a crap ton of cap space.
You could also make a case for Justin moving to the front of his draft class.
Lawrence, Lance, Mac Jones, Zach Wilson.

Obviously today is going to bump this up, but he's pacing for over 1100 yards rushing. Impressive stuff. He doesn't need to be an elite passer with this kind of ability. Just needs to limit turnovers and get better players around him. His passing obviously isn't there yet, but it's improving and that's a a really good sign.

Spot on, I have been saying just let JF run it this year until you get him some weapons and better blocking. Apparently that is the plan and its working pretty well. Getting Claypool is a big help imo, it will just take time for him to sync with the offense. Mooney and Claypool, plus a big FA pickup or first round pick at WR, and I think Justin might actually have a fighting chance. But in the meantime, man was he fun to watch yesterday, felt like he was wearing the S&G again against Clemson. Might be a Bengals fan, but I am a huge JF fan after all he did for our team and his fight to play during the COVID shutdown (and continuing to play after Skowlski almost broke his spine), so I want to see him have all the success in the NFL.

Why the hell are his WRs looking away from him in their routes? Saw this a couple times yesterday and I didnt understand it. If you're running a crossing route you look in front of you and back at your QB not downfield. That was the oddest thing in the world.

JF is sick in the open field and terrifying if he's going against your team. Glad the 'Phins got out of there with a win.
