You can play with broke ribs depending on how severe just most QBs don't play well with broke ribs. But if there is risk of dislocation he's done

Fields is playing. If you can play through cracked ribs when they happen you can play 10 days later. I don't think he has cracked ribs, I think his muscles and kidney took a beating. Piss a little blood and be back to slaying shit in no time.

I also want to point out that even after everyone knew he was no longer a threat to run the ball, Justin never lost his command of the offense. Credit the o-line for that as well, but he could have lost a bit of confidence knowing Clemson would be coming after him even hotter. Dude just balled harder. Best of the best.

I think you’re right. When he was wincing and grabbing his side as the game went on, it was right above the hip as opposed to in the rib cage area. I’m sure his kidneys got a hell of a blow.
