Only thing I can recall would be:Alright, JF is the man. That was a great game... but he went to another level for me. He hands off to Sermon and easy TD run. Justin wasn't having it, he was 10 yards behind everyone, yet somehow runs down the field and just wipes out the MSU guy like it was some sort of afterthought. I'm not sure we'll ever see such a badass play from our QB. Not only did Justin Fields fight to have a season for the B1G, but he's backing everything up on the field. Justin Fields deserves his own damn chapter in Ohio State history.
OH CAPTAIN, MY CAPTAIN. As if Justin Fields wasn't already a legend in Columbus, he's out here giving us quotes like this.
He's definitely had better stat-lines than he had this week, even against better teams, but I don't think you could possibly give him enough credit for how awesome he was in a game where his head coach/playcaller and position coach weren't even in the stadium and he was playing behind 3/5ths of a completely new and inexperienced offensive line, including a new center (who made him chase snaps the entire first quarter).
He just went ahead and did this.
And this.
And he was even making plays he didn't have to make.
Him throwing that block for Sermon might’ve been the most hype moment of the game.
That’s my quarterback.
I literally threw my hat when he did it because I was sure that was coming backamazed they didn't call it a clip/blindside block/personal foul/targeting.
If you check the twitter replies to any highlight of that play 50% are idiots claiming it was a block in the back.
That picture is going in my man cave. Love that dude
