I wonder if Haskins would leave if that ends up being where he is projected to go in the draft.
Part of me says we have a shot to keep him.... He has to consider next years draft class though too. If he declares he won't be going up against Tua so that'd help him.

I think he should go though... I think someone takes him early anyways in that 10-15 range (if not top 5).

Agree with bIp, I think he goes higher. 23 at the moment for a first year player, even one lighting it up, isn't unreasonable, but he's got the rest of the year with at least three big games and, possibly, five and if he works before the combine, his numbers should be decent. He has NFL size and arm strength and can make all the throws. Ironically, though, I wonder if the trend toward mobility in the league doesn't ding him a little bit.

I think scouts would like to see more leadership before considering him a 1st round pick.
The first round is littered with guys who laugh at that statement.

He continues to throw at the clip he is.. maybe more deep balls, puts up gaudy numbers with his size and arm talent.. he’ll go first round ...

I hope the QBs and coaches are spending part of these 2 weeks practicing sliding. Whether he wants to or not, Dwayne is going to have to scramble in the NFL if the defense gives him yards. Even Tom Brady will scramble, with the gracefulness of a drunk giraffe.

There’s been “slides” over the past few games that appear more dangerous than taking a defender head on.

Are you kidding? Anywhere in the first round and he needs to go...
I’m not saying he doesn’t or shouldn’t. There is a difference in Benjamin’s, contract guarantees, and lengths. I was wondering out loud if he would go if he was going to be a late first rounder. And as I also said it could be a positive for development going later and maybe not being forced right into a starting role.
