QB Dwayne Haskins Jr. (All B1G, B1G OPOY, Silver Football, Rose Bowl MVP, R.I.P.)

But..but...TUA!

For all the hype Tua is receiving, I honestly believe that Haskins is better. He's already statistically better than Tua against comparable opponents and I think he's more accurate on the deep balls. Haskins is hitting players in stride while Alabama's receivers have to make adjustments limiting their YAC in some cases. Plus we've seen Haskins under pressure with TTUN last year and TCU this year. I've got a feeling that Tua can get rattled if you get in his face.
Coming in cold and winning your team a Natty isn't under pressure?

FWIW, in a way premature mock draft, CBS Sports has Haskins as a first round pick to Denver. They also have Bosa at number 2 to Oakland and Dre'Mont Jones at 15 to the Browns.

20. Denver Broncos

Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State. Haskins has looked good early and we know that Case Keenum isn't the long-term answer in Denver. After whiffing badly on Paxton Lynch, John Elway will be under pressure to identify the team's next franchise quarterback.

What are these people smoking? Josh Allen went 7th being wildly inaccurate at Wyoming. He went 7th basically on measurables alone. Haskins has the measurables to crack the top10... before we even talk about what he does on the field or leadership qualities.
Who was the last slam dunk pro style QB prospect? Luck?
He's on track to fight Bosa for #1 overall.

You can split Dwayne Haskins' season into two pieces:

Everything but the first half vs TCU: 16 passes that were not complete - 16 touchdowns
First half vs the Horned Frogs: … very different

The most interesting part of this season so far (to me anyway) is the question of what happened at half time (or shortly thereafter) that changed things so drastically in Dallas.

After the half, Dwayne was every bit as good against the best defense he's played against as he was against the worst.

PSU has NOT been a good first half team. If Dwayne can get off to a hot start, it seems likely that the PSU defense will be unable to slow him down very much.

To add to the drops, I saw the first half of TCU as the WR's regressing to body catching days, failing to win 50/50 matchups and dropping balls all over the place.

I honestly don't feel like I saw a degradation of Haskins passing ability.
