QB CJ Stroud (All B1G, 2022 B1G QB of the Year, All-American, NFL OROY, Houston Texans)

So hear me out -

Used to be that once you went to the NFL you were no longer elibigle for college because you were no longer an amateur. But today is anyone really an amateur?

So once Stround wins the Super Bowl why not bring him back for his final year of eligibility and let him win the NC?

Surely all those lawyers in the Foundation can win this one in court.

You can thank me later.

I like your thinking! Maybe he can bring along some of his former O linemen that still have some eligibility.

Oddly enough I don’t remember that statement coming out once the score was leaked. That said, it very well may have and was drowned out by the producers and consumers of the hot takes…..but I don’t remember reading about it.
I think they actually did make the rounds trying to cover for this. Saying some players’ results are distorted because of the whole draft circuit.

But I don’t think they ever called it “invalid”.

Edit - okay, credit to them. Looking back, I think the owners did try to get ahead of it back then.

CJ doesn't just talk the talk but he walks the walk. Says a lot about the culture of the program and CJ

Even Cardale is heavily involved with The Foundation, along with other alumni. It’s amazing to see the culture start relevant even as pros. CJ stepping up like that is great for the university in so many ways now and the future.

I really wish we would’ve got the job done for CJ… he deserves a championship of some kind.

I’ve seen some people say this and I agree with it…but if there’s ever evidence how badly TCUN cheated? It’s that CJ Stroud couldn’t get a win in that game with a superior team.

Maybe that’s why I instinctively thought they shouldn’t have ever played another game this past season. It’s hard to quantify what benefit that gave them but I think this shows.
