He's still coming in with another highly regarded QB......so you could be Fields. You could also be Chugs.Yeah after the Fields situation I'm not sure why any non hometown dream school QB would choose Georgia over OSU, OU, Alabama any other QB friendly power.
Still seems ideal to go to the place that develops QBs.He's still coming in with another highly regarded QB......so you could be Fields. You could also be Chugs.
Well yeah.....unless you want to be the starter.Still seems ideal to go to the place that develops QBs.
2020
Sit for a year behind Fields and get developed by the best. Probably get some time in games during blow outs.
2021
Compete with the other recruit coming in for the starting spot. Either win the starting spot or still play 1/4 of snaps due to blowouts (to say nothing of potential injuries or other issues).
2022
Either starting or playing 1/4 of snaps or more.
2023
Either starting, the other guy has gone to the NFL and you’re in a position to start, or you have been prepared by a QB guru for greatness for three years and you’re in a position to follow in Joe Burrows footsteps by transferring.
It feels like an outstanding situation for both QBs, even the one that doesn’t win the starting spot in 2021.
I thought that was exactly the path I laid out in my initial post - particularly the 2023 section. I literally said follow in Joe Burrow’s footsteps by transferring.Well you left out be prepared by good QB coaching and then transfer portal if you don't get the job after 2/3 years in the initial post.
