QB Caleb Williams (Cry Baby, Painter of Nails)

LOL, they made fun of Ken "The Hawk" Harrelson for having "long" hair and flamboyant clothes in the late 60s...(and then there's Namath). If the kid delivers no one will care. if he doesn't he'll be soon forgotten anyways. That being said...he's from SC--fuck him (pretty in pink or not).

I’m thinking that painting your nails is not really comparable to long hair or wearing panty hose to stay warm during winter games. But that’s jmho.

Well, it has been a long time...but I think the reaction to the aforementioned may have been more vitriolic (at least among the rust belt working class). I've lived on the west coast for over 40 years and painted finger and toe nails just don't bug me (and it is just not just hipsters and Deadheads. Women seem to like it and it drives the rednecks crazy! LOL). I've also spent enough time in the rural west to know shorts are considered effeminate. Go figure. (Oddly in the working class environment I grew up in you only wore shorts when you swam). 'nuff for me that he's from SC without all the peripheral judgement. C'est la vie.

Could care less if they paint their nails...at least this dude is getting paid for it... but back to Williams the whole "Fuck Utah" nail paint was .... questionable at best...
Definitely questionable when Utah kicked his ass all 3 times he played them.

Yea, all of this.
The fingernail polish only got attention because of the context around it.

Michael Jordan potential.
Dennis Rodman head.

I don't even think he has Rodman potential.
I just don't see him being a #1 overall kind of guy. He already peaked in College.

I haven’t heard it anywhere else but I’ve told all of my friends and all of my Bears fan friends. I truly believe, that when Caleb was crying after losing to UW in the stands with his parents. It wasn’t because he was taking the game loss hard. It’s because he knew he just lost the Heisman. That’s why he was crying. He lost an individual award, and not the game. I haven’t heard that anywhere else.

More like a Gilbert Arenas head than a Rodman head.

Rodman is a hall of famer, and his persona added to his game, not detracted.

Caleb could be a good one but his attitude will likely not complement his skill set and potential.

I see another Matt Leinart.
Hyped QB out of college, but doesn't have room to improve and won't have the talent advantage in the NFL.
At best, he's Progressive commercials era Baker Mayfield; not to be confused with grind mode Baker.

He has much more physical ability than Leinart's noodle-armed, statue ass. But he's also a huge bitch
