Wash me
My friend (OSU Alum) and I will be in West Lafayette for the Purdue game. Any BPers going to make it?

Drop a note here if you'll be there for the game. I will be flying in, and so want to barter beer for sausages.

You all know you want to see the man purse (oh yes, I'll be sporting it).

My dad bought 3 tickets to this one. My sister currently attends Purdont, so it'll be extra nice to beat them at West Lafayette. I expect another good turnout for the Buckeye faithful at this away game. Playing against Purdue at night won't be an easy task, but the Buckeyes will pull one out in front of the strong supporting road crew of Buckeye fans.

Go Bucks!

Not going this year, but I have to give props to Purdue alumni. I went to the last game there, and due to some travel issues didn't arrive until near the end of the first quarter. The signs for parking had been moved and I couldn't find the overflow lot... drove back around the stadium and stopped to ask security if they could give me directions. A few people tailgating in the alumni lot came over and said they'd make room for me near their vehicle (Buckeye garb notwithstanding), and the security guy gave me a ride in his golf cart so I made it inside in next to no time. Just absolutely over-and-above awesome people.

Somehow, I don't think I thought my cunning plan all the way through.

So I have two tix (in 101, not great, but it is an OSU section) and a plane ticket. However, there is absolutely no lodging within 50 miles of the place, so we are staying in NW Indy. At the same time, as the stadium is no-alcohol, at least we'll be sober enough to drive anyway. :P

We'll be hanging out in Purdue from about 1:30 on until the game. . .

A few years back, we stayed in Frankfort and drove up the morning of the game.

Not that big of a deal since the stadium isn't walking distance from the hotels anyways.

rent an RV from the airport. we looked into it and it isn't that expensive

Knowing my friend, who is handling the rental (I can't being on record with the authorities in Indiana as being in Indiana, looonnnnggg story. . .), he may do just that. Great idea though, we'll check it out. . . Then again, we'll need a grill, etc. . .

Just so you guys know that may be going for the first time...the vast majority of the time they put the visiting fans behind either endzone. OSU always brings a big crowd to Ross-Ade, so behind both endzones are always covered in red. Those games always sell out. Wish I could be there!
