Purdue Series @ West Lafayette, IN (FIRE BEALS)

Observation... I would assume our baseball team doesn't do well.

With that said.... can we drop the "fire beals" business? Let the chips fall where they may but no need for this.

If I'm missing some sort of inside joke then forget this.
I'll tell you want, let's look at it this way:

Suppose the Head Coach of the Ohio State Buckeyes Football team had an 8 year record of 63-49 with a losing record against Michigan, 1 Big Ten championship and 2 Bowl victories. Then, this year, they finish 8th in the B1G and are fortunate for that. In that 8 years they lost multiple games to MAC teams and even 1 to an Appy St level team.

Do you think there would be some "Fire ___"? Would YOU want to fire him? Be honest.

He wouldn't have made it to year 8. With those results he would have been fired after year 3.

This is the equivalent of what Beals has done at OSU. His record and accomplishments are far below the high standards set by this university. Now, I understand that baseball is not as high-profile as football, basketball, hell even women's basketball. But those mediocre results are not acceptable for Ohio State. At all.
