Purdue Boilermakers (bball official thread)

I hope he goes but I don't think he's going to be much of an NBA player. He's not going to tower over his opponents, and he plays center like the 1970s NBA. He has no perimeter shot, or at least we haven't seen it, and he's slow-footed. I don't see it, but go Zach go!

Jake just might have tweeked to the reason Edey is returning to the college ranks. Maybe this year he'll actually set up outside the paint and try some jumpers. Or maybe a sky hook - which might play well against the other 7 footers in the NBA. Doubt whether we'll see him leading the break. Does Purdon't have any complimentary players that can give the guy some help? We'll see whether the Key-Okpara duo can move him away from the hoop this year. Betcha the B10 coaches will harp to the refs on the 3-second and over-the-back calls.

At least the one in Columbus better!

Make shots and he becomes less of a dominating factor. That and maybe get Felix some of that Clemson shampoo this offseason!

Remember when Jerry Lucas was on the Knicks, and he set up and shot, after shot, after shot, from top of the key in order to draw Wilt (?) away from the basket. Can't imagine Key doing that, but Okpara? Only works if the shooter gets enough of them into the hole. To be continued.

Key can shoot the three. He had a very good percentage for a center he just didn't shoot much later in the year and lost a little confidence in it but he can definitely make it.
