The condition of the natural grass field in 06 was criminal. I thought that was the catalyst for the change.

It was always my understanding that when they lowered the playing surface during the 1999-2000renovation that it put the field below the water table of the Olentangy river causing drainage issues, and that it also caused there to not be enough direct sunlight during the day making it difficult to keep a grass field growing. I would love for the school to find a solution, but I don't think it's gonna happen.
