Game Thread Purdue at tOSU, Sat. Nov. 9th, 12pm ET, FOX

Ohio State vs. Purdue Kickoff Time Won’t Be Announced Today

We’ll have to wait until this weekend to find out the kickoff time for Ohio State’s next home game.

The Big Ten announced Monday that Ohio State’s Nov. 9 game against Purdue is one of four games whose kickoff times are being held as part of the six-day selection process. That means the kickoff time for the Buckeyes’ game against the Boilermakers at Ohio Stadium won‘t be announced until Saturday night or Sunday morning.

The TV networks’ selections for next weekend’s Big Ten slate will depend in part on the results of the conference’s games this weekend, when Ohio State plays Penn State in a top-four matchup while Purdue hosts Northwestern in a matchup of two of the Big Ten’s worst teams.

Living on the Left Coast, heck yes! Watch the Buckeyes win, and still have the afternoon for yard work. Do see it as a way to control the imbibement of spirts and things prior to the games. Haven't attended a tailgate in some time, but washing down ribs/dogs/what have you with an adult beverage of choice can be debilitating for a late afternoon game. Unless of course, you've got a huge land cruiser to nap in.

Just sayin': In case you don't have any tickets and are interested in going to the Purdue game. As a season ticket holder, I received a weekly email from Ohio State that has a link to buy tickets. It does look like there are some tickets for Purdue for sale below "face value" on Ticketmaster. The cheapest "face value" for Purdue tickets is $89* each for zone 6. There are numerous tickets in various zones offered for below that amount.

* on sale to the public price, tickets were a little cheaper for faculty/staff/varsity O/recent grads.

Here is a link for Ohio State's pricing:

These aren’t the Spoilermakers of legend.

Sitting at 1-7 and winless in Big Ten play, Purdue will limp into Ohio Stadium on Saturday with Ohio State massively favored to take care of business against the Boilermakers. According to the Action Network, the Buckeyes enter the week as 38.5-point favorites against the struggling Boilermakers after the spread opened at 34.5 points.
