I can't remember when i have ever watched a beatdown of a Big10 game like i witnessed Tuesday night. There are teams and coaches who have a great co-hesiveness of coming together as one unit, but this is one of the best to come along.
I come from the era of Fred Taylor and the Buckeyes of the 60's
and thought no other team could match them but Thad Matta and this group is far superior to me. I know it was a much slower game then but the defense was good then too but this Aaron Craft is a real player both on defense and offense. This gives Thad Matta so many things to play around with after watching the videos. The schemes and gimmicks he can dream up will be something to watch.
And to read in this thread that sullinger will be a one and done deal is sad to me. I just wish he could think of staying for at least 2 more seasons at least. Another thing i have often wondered is the frienship of Matta and Tressel. I wonder if they share thought or Ideas of thier teams and what they are all about. When you see a player of Crafts possibility you sometimes think of what he would be like if he ever played football for Tressel. Its just a thought i know, by WOW is Ohio State ever blest to have 2 great coaches like Thad and Jim. I just hope the BB Buckeyes can become even better in the season and bring us home a great National Championship Trophy to add into the WHAC.
