Sparty tries to stay tied for first, and then they root for tOSU to lose because Sparty owns the head-to-head tiebreaker against Wiscy.

With Wisconsin holding the H2H over us I'm not sure how that's a good thing for the Buckeyes.

That's exactly what I mean. It's not a good thing, my point was more of a "silver lining statement".

If Purdue beats Sparty, BCS rankings hold no bearings in Ohio State's pursuit of the Rose Bowl.

Therefore, no more reason to worry about them. At that point it's up to Northwestern to beat Bucky and that's about it.
