PRIDE - A national stage. An opportunity to silence the critics. A time to look at yourself in the mirror and say "Can you bring it?" Make no mistake about it: THIS IS ABOUT PRIDE! USC, the media darlings of college football , and the #1 team in the country, have called you out. In their own backyard. Millions watching. Every college football fan other than those in Ohio saying, "it will be a blow out." Men, this is your time to shine. This is YOUR day. Carpe Diem boys. Seize the moment.
PASSION - Fire. Heart. Will. Determination. Controlled rage. An unrelenting desire to seize the moment. An absolute refusal to be denied. This is why I came to Ohio State. No bigger stage. No bigger moment. No bigger opportunity to display to the college football world that THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY belongs on the national stage. WE BELONG. And on 9-13 we will prove it.

They need to play with an edge. National perception thinks you don't belong. Chips on your shoulders for 60 minutes. Bust them in the mouth early and never stop.

That being said, Pride, Passion, and Purpose are well described.

I would like to literally blow them out. With all the talk about us being blown out in the last two NCs and claiming that we can't hang with the big boys, I would really love for that 31-13 prediction to come true.

We do all recall USC losing to a 41 point underdog Stanford team last year, yes? I hope people saying they'll blow tOSU out remember this. I know Mark May has erased it from his memory, along with lots of others.

I think the question we need to answer is... are we better than Stanford? Yes, we are. Now let's go take out the competition. They say we're overrated, I say they're overrated.

Yeah, the 'literally' in my post was more of an emphasis thing than its actual meaning. As in: I really, really want to smack them in the mouth from start to finish. I'm strange like that. :tongue2:

I think this game will be close, but the BUCKS will rise up in the midst of a hailstorm of usc supporters and silence EVERYONE, even those tOSU fans that have doubts. The Buckeyes are ready and have the talent to pull this win off, even in "BLOW OUT" fashion. I'm ready for Saturday night, Are yOU?!

Gut check time men. Leave it all on the field, and you have nothing to be ashamed of, win or lose. But losing isn't what built tOSU.
