I need help! In the last 2 days, when I try to post on a thread, my screen freezes and the post doesn't show up. Then, I try to hit post reply again and it tells me that I have to wait XX seconds to repost.

Help!

Here is a post from Jwins prior to me starting this thread. He explains the problem a little clearer than I did.

the quick reply system is struggling big time with this new update. I hit post reply, and it just sits there doing nothing most of the time. However, if I refresh the page I often notice that my post did go thru, it just didn't give any indication that it went thru on my screen

This continues to be a problem today?

Others complaining of this issue described relief after I had disabled a new mod last night that stripped whitespace from code before delivering it to user's browsers.

I just had that problem with the Quick Reply. I have never used it before and just decided to try it. I clicked "Reply" or whatever it says and that little spinning thingy came up. I clicked it again and got the 30 second posting message. Once I hit refresh, the post came up.

I'm not that concerned, I don't ever use Quick Reply.

Another (probably related) problem...everytime I've used the quick reply, while I have the trouble discussed above, I can still click on "open discussion" and get back to the OD forum page...the problem is, while my post always shows up (when I go back to check), the thread itself remains in bold, signifying that there are unread posts in that thread - but there aren't.
