Hey guys sorry about all that crap I said earlier. But seriously I honestly think Michigan can end up playing OSU

If I understand the BCS right, 2/3 of it are human polls. If that is the case, the pollsters won't let it happen.

UF lost to FSU in their last regular season game, but then they won the SEC Championship game, and OSU beat ASU, and about 10 other things happened to get UF to luck into their first and only National Championship.

It couldn't happen to scUM or anyone without a Championship Conference game.

If WVU is the only team undefeated except for OSU and scUM, the OSU/Tsun game will be the true championship game. WVU no matter what their record shouldn't be the game.

Alas, things happen unexpected, so who knows.

Oh okay, so who do you think that OSU will end up playing then?

Could be USC, Texas, Auburn, UF or Notre Dame. In my opinion of course.

Here is what I see happening:
USC losses to CAL or UCLA
USC beats Notre Lame
UF losses to Spurrier at Home in November
Auburn losses to UF in SEC Championship game
Texas losses to Nebraska
WVU losses to someone

USC has 1 loss, ND has at least 2, UF has 2 losses, Auburn has 2 losses. Texas has 2 losses.

So who goes? I have no clue.

My best guesstimation at this point would be, if USC, UF or Notre Dame(by hype power) have just 1 loss, whoever looks stronger(could be UF with their strength of schedule) will go to the National Championship game.

My best guess, taking in normal thoughts, and not worrying about what will happen,,,,,,,

The winner of the OSU/scUM game plays the winner of the USC/ND game for the National Title.

Only outside hope is a 1 loss UF takes the hard schedule to the hype bank and cashes it in for a lucky National Championship birth against the Big 10 winner.

If UF indeed loses to the-other-USC in November, it is entirely possible that the Volunteers would play Auburn or Arkansas in the SEC Championship Game. A battle for the Crystal Football with Tennessee is entirely possible (though not likely).

That all makes sense.

But what you have to think about though is, is Notre Dame really going to win that first game? to move on and play USC? But if thats the case I think personally think its going to end up:

OSU VS. USC = National Championship

But who knows im just speaking if USC gets to play Notre Dame for the SEC

An all Big Ten National Title Game? Not this year but it is a scenario that is quite definitely possible in the future. It is a scenario that is made more likely due to the fact that the Big Ten doesn't have a Championship Game like the Big 12, ACC and SEC, and the fact that the Big Ten doesn't have a complete round robin schedule like the Big East and Pac Ten do.

The Big Ten is the only conference where two teams have the potential to go undefeated for the entire season and not play each other at some point during the year. The BCS title game is #1 vs. #2 in the BCS rankings whether those two teams are in the same conference or not.

For example, Iowa doesn't play Ohio State or Michigan at all in 2007 and 2008. Therefore, Iowa's chances of going undefeated will be much greater during those two years. Now what if Ohio State goes undefeated during one of those seasons along with Iowa.

If there are no other undefeated teams to get in the way, a BCS championship matchup between Iowa and Ohio State would be a definite possibility. If Iowa and Ohio State finish 1 and 2 in the BCS poll, no amount of bowl committee/media belly aching will be able to stop the matchup.

The Big Ten is the only conference where this is likely. With the addition of the 12th game to the schedule, the Pac Ten added another in-conference game so that no team misses any other team in the Pac Ten. The Big East is small enough for all teams to play each other each year. The 3 other BCS conferences have their high and mighty Championship game that will allow only one undefeated team to emerge from those ranks.

Go Buckeyes!!!
