What have you guys heard about OSU possibly Michigan for the National Tittle? If you have heard about it, who do you think USC is going to have to lose to get dropped that bad in the BCS standings for OSU to play Michigan??

Will never happen.

Although I'm about 99% sure it will NEVER happen to see Michigan and Ohio State both playing in the official NC game... I think you could make a debate for it.

Suppose OSU and Michigan are the only two undefeated teams at the end of the season, #1 and #2. What if Ohio State beats Michigan by like one point, 21-20 ? Couldn't you make the case that if everyone has one loss, Michigan still deserves to be #2? Or what-if (now this is REALLY stretching it) OSU and Michigan are both undefeated and everyone else has TWO losses?

... Like I said, it'll never happen. There's no way the BCS, which is all about TV ratings, would let there be a Conference NC game. But I guess if the game is super close and they're the only undefeated teams there at the end, you could make a case for it.

And personally I would much rather see OSU play someone else other than Michigan or Texas again in a National Championship game.

The BCS and media would never allow two conference teams in a BCS championship game, ever. Wouldn't be good for College Football. But like I said earlier, if the stars align then you could make an agrument saying otherwise.

If we had Pac 10 refs rather than Big 10 refs I'd move it up to doubtful rather than never happen. An Oregon/Oklahoma type of screw job could keep both teams close enough in the polls assuming everyone else lost a game or two. I agree that it will never happen.

They don't want one conference to own the BCS, especially not one without a CCG game.
They certainly don't want a rematch of a game just played.

But most of all, there's no way they want to risk another split title. If both matchups are very close and the series is split, who wins the title?
