Positives from this season

OK, we are currently not a very good football team. 0-3 is a terrible way to start and we have lost to two teams we trtaditionally manhandle. So that is the reality. But here are some positive that I think we can take from this season

1) We are graduating Lydell Ross. He is probably a nice enough guy, but he has never gotten the job done. Someimtes you get better when certain guys are finished.

2) We return 18 starters for next year. They are not that great right now and they are taking some serious lumps, but I would imagine that the experience from this year, and hopefully the distaste for losing like they are will hopefully produce some good leaders next year

3) We have what seems like a very good freshman running back who should have a bright future for the Bucks

4) JTwill see that some things need to change. The O Line's ineptitude has not been covered by a great defense this year. Our defense needs to learn how to get pressure on QB's again and not give up first downs on 3 and 8. Find the right QB for the following two years. These are a few, but I believe JT will work as hard as possible to fix them.

5) We have a great coach returning next year. ESPN radio analyst were talking about coaches on the hot heat and if JT was there. They said no way, and claimed him as one of the top five coaches in the country. I agree with him and believe he will turn it around.

It sucks to be where we are, it hurts losing badly to average team. But we are playing like a below average team right now. ALl is not lost this season. If we were to win out (yes that is a big if) I doubt that we wouls all think this was the owrst season in recent history if we end up 8-3 and in a decent bowl. All hope is not lost in a rebuilding year when we lost a ton of talent from last year.

One positive is Bob Griese did't rag on Ohio State at all and my friends out here in So. Cal. after last week have taken pity on me and my beloved Bucks, for I'm not getting the laughing phone calls, today.

This season is like a bad joke and it's not funny at all. What is this coaching staff doing? Where is the leaders? Where is our playmakers? I TiVo Ohio State weekly show every week and JT says nothing, drives me crazy. The reporters all kiss his ass so much, it's disgraceful. ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Think back to some of those great Cooper teams that somehow lost to those clowns up north. It seemed totally inconceivable for us to lose back then, but somehow scUM always ended up with the W. The season is pretty much a wash at this point....a Michigan win is the only goal left.
