I'm sorry it's just that I find it a bit incredible that someone who owns a business would resort to asking for help (with his first ever post no less) on what is more or less a sports message board. It's as if you exhausted all other avenues of approach beforehand and this was last desperate attempt for an answer.zrooster99;1598742; said:Wow... what a nice welcome. Friendly bunch here! Welcome to the board, I promise not to be a prick from now on.
I wouldn't want to be a mod, I'd rather freeload. My wife moderates a board and some nights she spends 2-3 hours of her own time going through threads, deleting posts and spam and trying to maintain peace.Chewbacca;1598767; said:You could never be a mod here.
That's why I told Clarity; I'd do this job, but it would have to be a 7 figure multi-year deal only.DubCoffman62;1598773; said:I wouldn't want to be a mod, I'd rather freeload. It only takes her 2-3 hours a night doing that?DubCoffman62;1598773; said:I wouldn't want to be a mod, I'd rather freeload. My wife moderates a board and some nights she spends 2-3 hours of her own time going through threads, deleting posts and spam and trying to maintain peace.
Bullshit, Chewy. I saw you over there an hour ago talking about how you're a fan of the BucKeye.Chewbacca;1598781; said:I haven't been on the Prison Talk message boards in ages
I hope this doesn't sound pricky but if you were hoping to make a viable profit off of selling sodas to customers wandering on your lot...well I don't know what to say. It would probably take years just to break even on the machine. If that's you plan though it might be better to buy an old refridgerator, keep it in your office stocked with pop and if anyone asks sell them one of those.zrooster99;1598769; said:Fair enough! I guess as a newb I'm subject to a bit of hazing.
As far as this being my last resort... actually it was my first. Just my way of throwing an idea out there to see what comes back... that's what's nice about message boards is that you often get a different point of view than your own. Calling the distributor was the response that I expected, but what I was really looking for was a way to purchase a pop machine that didn't involve a 3rd party getting a cut of my profits.
Thanks for everyone's inputs so far... I apologize if this type of question doesn't quite fit in here... on ole JJ, these kind of questions were quite popular.
