  • Watching this game which features most of the top HS players of Polynesian descent from throughout the country, along with a smattering of non-Polynesians. Of note are two Michigan commits: QB Dylan McCaffrey (for whom I think we have a thread) and RB Kurt Tyalor (3* from Loganville, GA, and whose dad played basketball for Hawaii in '92-'93). Despite having most of the top HS players of Polynesian descent, and pre-game graphic showed there are 89 players of which 29 are 4* and 5* (meaning 60, or 2/3 of the players, are 3* or below), so the level of talent wasn't all that great. The only player who really stood out was 5* Iowa DE commit AJ Epenesa who was all over the place, most likely due the talent level of the OTs he faced.

    I saw this thread title and thought it was something you had going on at your place and we were in the RR
