The Why Is The News? Podcast is back to talk about the biggest Ohio State headlines from the week. We’re still wading through the Urban Meyer saga, but the football team is well-into fall camp and had its first open practice of the offseason this week.
Co-hosts, Matt and Alexis, talk about some of the position battles on display during that open practice, and what the future of the center position looks like. They also talk about the annual tradition of fun t-shirts and big entrances when the team checks into their hotel for camp.
The duo also talk about the final game of the men’s basketball trip to Spain, and what some of the new Buckeyes looked like during their first mini-series abroad.
Also, LGHL’s Patrick Mayhorn wrote up a guide on some of the best high school games in Ohio for Buckeye fans to pay attention to this season, and it got Matt and Alexis reminiscing about an old-school central Ohio rivalry.
