"Plus One" Games That You'd Like to See This Season

My number one game would be Wisconsin vs. Nebraska, two defense-oriented teams who really peaked at the end of the year.

Boise State and Florida ... both in all-blue uniforms ... on the smurf turf.

Ohio State vs. Cincinnati would have been the choice if Ohio's real BCS Team had won, but now bUCkeye state seems like just another non-conference patsy.

As far as 'plus-one' games: none. The Buckeyes season ended with a great Rose Bowl win, and there's a legitimate title game tonight between two undefeated BCS teams. That's a fine way to end the season for me.

But in the spirit of the thread, earlier in the season, I would have liked to have seen these matchups:

tOSU vs Alabama
Boise St vs Florida
TCU vs Texas

I'm not a proponent of the "plus one" concept, but I wouldn't mind seeing these games in a week or two.

Ohio State versus Florida - If TP could play like he did in Pasadena, this would be interesting. I'd also like to see how our defense would stack up after playing well versus the Ducks. Cinci's defense sucked before the Sugar Bowl. Florida just drove the point home...repeatedly. :wink2:

Iowa versus Nebraska - A corn-fed slugfest, battle of the hayseeds. The first one to 13 wins?

Boise State versus Wisconsin - I'd like to see how the Broncos handle a traditional power running team with a solid defense. I don't think they see a lot of that, with TCU and Oregon being spread teams. Nevada has no defense, and their running game is spread-based. The closest thing is Fresno, who ran wild and scored 34 points on BSU. The problem was, they allowed 51.

Oregon v. Miami would be a good one too..

I think that this season we would all be proponents of the plus one system because if Ohio State goes undefeated this season and Texas and Alabama are also undefeated we are all watching the same game we are going to watch tonight.

Texas vs Florida - a matchup I had been waiting all year to see, and thought I would. I think that would have been a game that I could care about. Sorry about McCoy's luck - I guess Satan runs the BCS and coaches at Alabama. ~Rant
