I saw this. Chara is one of the best fighters I've seen in the NHL. I've seen several of his fights and every one of them was extremely one sided in his favor. His height gives him the reach advantage and his Dad has an extensive wrestling background, which I'm sure he benefited from in some way.

I've got to give credit to Lecavalier for having the guts to drop the gloves with Chara. (Even though he probably felt the ref would stop it before it got started) Agree about Chara: Very classy move not to take a shot or two: Especially after Lecavalier hit him when the ref first moved in to separate the two.

tbuck are you a stars fan or just hoping the for the houston pens?

I'm 100% Blue Jacket fan even though I moved to Texas a year before the Blue Jackets came. I tried to root for the Stars my first couple years down here but they started playing an EX-scUM goaltender so I quit trying.

I would love to see an NHL team move down here but I would have mixed feelings abut the Pens. They belong in Pittsburgh.

The Buffalo-Ottawa series should be fun to watch.

Ottawa managed to lose the lead several times last night. They gave up the tying goal on a soft rebound with just over ten seconds left, and then lost on a brutal turnover in their own end and a stoppable shot 18 seconds into OT.

Both teams take chances in order to generate offense, so it's entertaining - but certainly can be frustrating if your team blows leads repeatedly.

that was one of the most entertaining/sloppy games I have ever watched in my life... Tim Connolly has some of the softest hands in the game and proved it by that goal he got...I am going to game 3 on Wed night adn am very pumped about it...GO SABRES!!!
