Knowshon Moreno and Matthew Stafford have just declared for the draft. Does Knowshon go before Beanie if he declares? Was online press conference at 3 p.m. BEANIE COME BACK!!

Absolutely not. Beanie has better size and strength.
The only advantage Kno would have is that he hasn't suffered the injuries that Wells has. Beanie's a Top 10 pick - Kno a Top 20.

No Beanie would be drafted before Knowshon. When I think Knowshon I think Reggie Bush and we see how that experiment is turning out so far... When you see Beanie you're thinking more along the lines of Brandon Jacobs, Johnathan Stewart, Jamal Lewis, etc. Teams with a great defense would die to have Chris Wells.

Unfortunately if I was a GM looking to invest possibly 10's of millions, how can you give it to Wells? I am not one of those dolts who question the toughness of Wells... I believe that he gets legitimately injured to the point of hindering his abilities. But that is the problem... and with a salary cap I just wouldn't be able to commit that much money. Talent alone there is no question I would select Wells.

IMO - the two would form the proto-typical NFL backfield. Wells isn't a 300 carry back and neither is Kno. This is not to assume that Beanie gets all the short yardage carries and Kno gets nothing but sweeps. But with Beanie getting 17-20 carries a day and Moreno getting 10-12.....that's a good combo.

Don't be stunned to see Wells drop out of the top 10.

Agreed. Lots of money to invest in a back that hasn't played a whole college schedule yet.

Of course you could say the same thing about Adrian Peterson and that's turned out pretty well for the Vikings.
