Interesting that Backes is on the team as a scholar/athlete. At the end of June it was reported that he won't be playing football for NW this year due to a shoulder injury.

The Playboy All America team was selected in May. The events actually took place back at the end of Spring ball (there is a thread about this, as well as Santonio's bullriding exploits, around here somewhere).

Yep - I realized they picked the team before his injury was disclosed. Just pointing out that he won't be playing (for those that didn't know) since he entered the discussion.
