When you two biggest stars go 0-4 from the line... in the waning minutes... you've mailed it in

Eh, there was still over six and a half minutes to go when that happened. In the real waning minutes of the game when the game was actually decided, the problem for the Spurs was there was way too much Manu Ginobili. And, in typical Manu fashion, he came up short--he was 1-4 from the field and committed a turnover (and, what's worse, the one shot he did make was a meaningless three-pointer at the buzzer when the Spurs were down 5).

what did Bayless do?
His typical trolling after Game 1. ESPN should be ashamed they employ that clown.

As far as Game 2...

Duncan had 38 minutes of PT. I honestly think he needs to play less. He looked really ragged and tired there at the end and was largely disappointing in the second half. Those missed free throws wreaked of fatigue.

Cut Duncan's minutes to 30-32 and give Tiago a little more playing time. Maybe even run Bonner a little if you want a stretch four.

Parker at 35 minutes should be fine and Manu with 28 minutes is fine (probably would have been 30-32 if not for foul trouble). Kawhi probably needs more than 32 minutes, but his foul trouble caused that. Same goes for Green (18 minutes). Belinelli got too much burn (22 minutes), but most of that was a result of Kawhi/Green's foul trouble combined with a lot of small-ball. 15 minutes for Mills is probably fine.

+/- numbers are pretty even. Manu was the high man with +4. Belinelli trailed with -7 and Kawhi was second-worst with -6.

It's the epitome of what they do.

I've always known I should steer clear of their tmz stupidity but my addiction to sports caused many relapses. The tatgate scandal helped me and others cut the E cord completely and only tune in for the games themselves (with halftime on mute).

Same here--games only. It would be interesting to see if their viewership has gone up or down in the past 5-10 years in which their programming has become more and more like the broadcasting that accompanies professional wrestling matches.

This country is full of idiots. I'm sure their profits have gone up, which is why they do what they do.

Game 3:

San Antonio leading Miami 71 - 50 at the HALF.

The Heat shooting a torrid 55.9% from the field including 50.0% from three.

The Spurs shooting a ridiculous 75.8% from the field including 70.0% from three.

Only 24 total rebounds in the first half.

Unreal.
