Great weekend. I went for a seven mile/four hour canoe trip down McGee Creek in Mississippi Saturday with my two boys and the rest of my scout troop. We swam, cooked burgers, camped out over night, and we did not lose a single boy despite their unique version of "canoe demolition derby"....
(the dead 7 ft alligator we saw floating along the way was a highlite)

I had a really great Fathers Day with my boys. I hope yours was great too.

working, but my wife and kiddo are coming up for lunch, then i'm cutting grass when i get home
I was in Hubbard this weekend for a wedding and it's amazing how much greener the grass is up there compared to here in Quahog.

Haven't had to mow for two weeks and the grass is a baked, crunchy, brown nightmare.

I was in Y-town this weekend as well. Played Mill Creek for the first time in several years. It was in great shape.

30 mins on Bp, errands, exercise, and then ARRRRGGHhhhhh continue with garade clean up. The old workbench is 60% cut up and burned and with luck I will be done with that today and be able to do the real garage clean up. More Bp and online poker. Hmmm somewhere in there I may have to spend time with my 2 granddaughters.

Same deal here. The only green in our lawn is down two sections of a hill behind our house, where there are lush, full patches of grass running away from the exit drains of our downspouts.

The rest of the yard? Dead.

Yep, I feel ya... Only green in my yard is around the flower beds that we water. I "mowed" on Friday, with the weedeater...

After work I'm going shopping for a Les Paul guitar. Whoo-hoo!!!

Sweet!! Might want to move this over to the "guitar player" thread, but have you done any research yet into what model you want? It seems the new 2007 standards/classics are chambered/weight relieved. Not sure what you think about that but the last Les Paul Standard I tried was quite a bit lighter weight than the Pauls I already own. Anyway, we need pics of the new guitar!!
