Plane needs to make emergency landing: Live on CNN

CNN has been tracking a plane for an hour that has a problem with it's landing gear (front wheels are turned sideways). It's been circling LAX trying to burn off fuel and it's going to try to land.

According to the people on MSNBC that plane didn't have the capability to dump fuel, so swim away, methomps.

The pilot did a nice job landing that thing. I still won't be flying Jet Blue any time soon.

pretty smooth landing considering what they were up against... that could have been a disaster.
