Kicker strikes again.

I’m still at a loss as to how OSU is in this current position of having “C” level talent at kicker and punter.

And it should affect our acquisition of non-kicker talent. If I have talent and am in the portal or am a 5star HS player and can get paid anywhere, I want to win. I don’t want to bust my ass and have kickers and coaches repeatedly shitting the bed.

This is where I do have a serious case of the ass with Day and I don’t care about his record. If you keep losing the same fucking way and refuse to do anything about it then you deserve to be called out for it.

I like the kid. Nailed a 48 yarder that would’ve been good from 55 and missed another. It’s going to happen. Gives them a much better chance with 40 and 50 yarders.

I feel like each year we see MAC kickers go elsewhere and succeed, but we overlook them. Maybe that's just recency bias since Texas' kicker went to Ohio U and is from the Cleveland area.

Ball State kid was good from 60.

That said, you can’t really stress test the pressure moments until it’s too late.

He was a welcome, good kicker…until he wasn’t.

But Day and the ST coach should probably be doing kick after kick until 45 is made in your sleep - pressure or not. You have one job.
