Trying what? Unless Rudolph is ready to play at a Pro-Bowl level, they just traded a likely top-10 pick for a band-aid. Fitzpatrick is a good DB, but they have a lot of issues and just dealt a potential premium pick for a guy that isn't likely to impact their W-L record a whole lot this year.

Bonus: If Rudolph plays at a high-level this year, you get a nice QB controversy next!

If Rudolph plays well and Ben comes back, I'm hoping they trade Rudolph for a couple 1st round picks and a 3rd round pick. Then with one of the 1's they draft Joe Burrow!

Steelers are +3 in turnover margin today yet trail 10-6 early 3rd quarter. Mason Rudolph has been useless.
