Four runs on three bombs of Ohtani in five innings. Not too shabby. Allowing twice as many runs to the Angels is so Pirates, though.

It's possible, maybe, the Bucs finally nailed a first round pick. At least Shohei Ohtani knows who he is now. I doubt he did yesterday.

It's that time of year again, cashing in the one-year contract vets for prospects. Rich Hill may be next, if anyone wants him.

Got the last 5 outs to finish off the Phillies, 7-6, on Yinzerpalooza (I'm not making that up). It was his bobblehead night, too.

The annual fire sale continues. Fine with me, all three guys traded away were vets on one-year deals. Might as well get something.

Four games at Milwaukee (rarely win there) followed by four at home versus the Braves (good fucking luck).

At least it will be one week closer to football season.
