... which is why they are stuck announcing a Friday night college football game that no one outside of UC and Pitt cares about (I'm assuming many on this thread are doing so out of boredom, just like me).

...And the announcer just proclaimed after that pick 6 that he thought the QB just sealed up the starting job. :lol: Insights like that one are why they're announcing the JV game.

I think it'll be a good confidence-builder for a young defense. If they beat Texas, that'll be a confidence boost unto itself. If the D gets gashed by Texas, they'll have a good chance to recover against UC. With either one of those QBs in the game for UC, the linebackers and secondary will have a chance to make some big plays and build some stats.
