Just got back and I don't wee what all the fuss is about. A bunch of people doing exercises on a beach that may or may not have been in the Caribbean. Joseph Pliates wasn't even IN the movie.

Actually it was great fun - but I did not stay for the end of the credits. Can somebody PM me what I missed?

Thanks.
The question is then; Were the men doing exercises on top of the women on the beach. :wink2:

From what I understand and have heard, Depp is all about making numerous Pirates movies because Jack Sparrow is his favorite character to play. Also I've heard that Orlando Bloom does not want to make anymore for fear of being typecast (which I think is dumb as hell, because when you think of him you think of Will Turner and Legalus (sp), and thats it... sorry Bloom but elizabethtown is not going to be remembered past this post, stick with the Pirates, its a good thing you've got going for you!).

Anyways, I wouldn't mind seeing sequels without Bloom, its Depp that would push me away from the series. If there is ever a Pirates of the Caribbean movie without Johnny Depp then I don't want to know about it. Depp is Pirates in my mind, thats also the only reason I didn't like the 3rd one as much as the first 2, because as I said before it just didn't seem as if he had as big of a roll as in the first 2 movies.

Watched 1 & 2. Hated both. Saving myself the trouble of watching 3 and just saying I hate it sight unseen. How these movies are so appealing to guys I'll never know. To those who liked it did you go for Johnny Depp or Orlando Bloom? <insert comment about your sexuality here>.

I saw it last night. I think it was good but it has left me stuck somewhere between here and there. thats the best way to explain it, does anyone else know that feeling? When you finish a movie and are confused on if you liked it or not or if it was good or not?

I dont want a fourth fearing this was the downswing of the movie, I do want a forth so I can be more excited about the end of this series.

I know what you mean as when I saw it the first time I didn't totally love it and thats why I said it wasn't better than the first 2, however, after seeing it a second time in theaters I understand alot of what I didn't from the first time seeing it. The movie is sort of confusing and has alot going on in it, but I think if you see it again you will like it more than the first time you saw it, thats at least what happened to me. It's still not better than the first 2, but I do like it alot more than before.

I'm also still hoping for a fourth, though, because I love this series and Jack Sparrow is such a cool character.

Just out of curiosity, would you be willing to see another movie without the main actors? Not sure if it would happen, but it could be likely that Depp, Knightley, ect. may not all return. I didn't like the third one enough to see a fourth one without all of them returning.

id be willing to watch anything with knightley in it, and would pay more for less clothing worn on her part.

i haven't seen the 3rd one yet, but i liked the first 2. with that in mind i probably wouldn't watch a 4th without depp and knightley. bloom really isn't needed. i completely agree with msj, its foolish of him to refuse to do a 4th. if i were making the kind of money he is per movie... typecast me please!!!

For fear of someone spoiling it for others, can those of you who stayed past the credits PM me with what the scene was about? I had to leave because it was 1am when the movie was done and i had to work in the morning.

I thought it was a great flick.

I enjoyed Pirates 3. It took over an hour to truly get back to 'Pirates' form... way too much talking, opening fight scene was madness (not in a good way).

The final 60-90 minutes were excellent, with the stupid proposal scene thrown in.
